Job Description

Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Production Packer in Hebron, KY. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
Follow all written instructions where provided, pack completed parts for shipping and unpack parts for processing
Continuously perform visual inspection of parts for damages or issues that must be addressed before shipping to customer
Record and sign off on all applicable process steps defined in the job folder for each shipping operation
Efficiently use Vantage or related business systems to perform function
Locate all shipping containers and make appropriate and safe use of shipping and receiving materials and equipment.
Observe all Environmental, Health and Safety Policy requirements :
Using Forklift, floor jacks, hoist.
Always keeping work area neat and orderly
Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Assist production when asked to prepare parts or do post processing work.
Perform Grit Blast operation as directed
Follow all instructions in technical plan
Take and record all measurements

REQUIREMENTS

Education – High School diploma

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements.

Experience – working experience in a production environment preferred.

Able to maintain a high degree of attention to detail.

Must be able to work in a sitting and standing position for extended periods of time in an office / industrial environment

Organized and accurate documentation skills.

Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions

May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.

Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions

Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to hear in person and via phone

Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
