Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist in training new hosts/hostesses as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
