About the Role:
The Technical Writer and IT Solutions will create compelling technical documentation and designing IT solutions that directly support business development and capture efforts. This role will be pivotal in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise proposals and architecture plans that resonate with clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise, writing proficiency, and strategic thinking. What You’ll Do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Writing & Documentation:
- Produce comprehensive technical content for proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather detailed information and translate into clear, concise documents.
- Ensure all documentation is consistent with corporate branding and style guidelines.

Solutions Architecture & Design:
- Work with the CTO to design and validate IT architectures, frameworks, and prototypes for new business opportunities.
- Assess client needs and create tailored solutions aligned with organizational capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform solution design.

Business Development & Capture Support:
- Support capture and proposal teams by synthesizing technical solutions into customer-centric narratives.
- Develop winning strategies, value propositions, and technical differentiators that align with client requirements.
- Conduct research on competitive landscapes, industry standards, and compliance requirements to shape proposal content.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to gather essential technical input.
- Communicate solution designs and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through presentations and briefs.
- Participate in client calls, meetings, and presentations to offer technical expertise and solution details.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 10 years of combined experience in technical writing, solutions architecture, or related IT domains.
- Experience in business development or capture management is highly desirable.

Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in technical writing tools (e.g., MS Word, Adobe Technical Communication Suite) and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear, concise manner.
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to successful proposals and capture efforts.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
