Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Job Description
We are looking for an organized and attention to detail individual to fulfill the role of an administrative assistant/Bookkeeper. As an administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper, you are responsible for the accurate and timely data entering of accounts payable and accounts receivable into QuickBooks, assisting with Payroll processing, Tracking Data upkeep, registering units, and other administrative tasks as needed. The admin assistant must have an understanding of all front office needs and expectations as it is the role of many hats. This person works alongside our Controller and assist the controller in all daily tasks.
What will you do?
- Receive and input all invoices into QuickBooks for each separate entity
- Invoice sales in a timely manner and process the invoices to the applicable parties
- Keep all tracking logs up to date at all times
- Assist with biweekly payroll
- Uphold our exceptional customer rapport by answering phones, emails, and interacting with our customers on site.
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Maintain the filing of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer files
- Follow all applicable Kachemak Marine Group, Inc. and L&I Health & Safety regulations.
- Administrative and clerical duties as assigned
What do you need to succeed?
- Front office or Bookkeeping experience is required;
- Personal Experience with QuickBooks Online as well as QuickBooks Desktop;
- Ability to read and understand shop work orders;
- Skillsets to stay organized and prioritize deadlines
- Ability to have clear and professional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to be on site for our four day, 10 hour work schedule

Working Conditions
- Regular periods during which there is continuous sitting and typing, some physical moving of file boxes, travel through the factory and through the yard for information or employee support.
- Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed;
- Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists.
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday – 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
