What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at KAD Staffing?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing facility. This role will be a working Supervisory position with day to day duties for the upkeep of the facility, as well as management of Maintenance staff. This person must have good hands on electrical skills.
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Mechanical and Electrical upkeep of the facility
- Experience with PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, motors, drives, etc.
- Respond and fix safety related maintenance questions
- Involved with Hazard Communication Program and Hazard Materials disposal
- Participate on the safety committee
- On call to respond to building emergencies
- Research and order parts
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, HVAC and plumbing issues
- Repair machinery used in Production
- Write preventative maintenance programs for machines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of Maintenance Supervisory experience
- Mechanical and electrical experience in an assembly and manufacturing environment
- Ability to motivate and lead staff
- Operate with sense of urgency
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Possess good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Forklift certified
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
