Position : Vice President of AI & ML Locatio n : Hybrid San Francisco Key Responsibilities AI Strategy Development : Lead the design and implementation of the companies AI strategy to enhance data verification process Team Leadership : Build and manage a high-performing AI research and development team Technical Innovation : Drive the development of proprietary AI algorithms and models tailored for real-time fact-checking Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to integrate AI capabilities into the companies core offering Thought Leadership : Represent the companies at industry conferences, workshops, and in media to promote our AI advancements Qualifications Educational Background : Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields Experience : 8 years of experience in AI / ML. The individually would preferably come from a broad NLP background solving problems around Search, Information Retrieval, Reasoning and hallucinations Technical Skills : Must be proficient in building architectures and rolling up your sleeves to code. Proficiency in AI / ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analysis, and large-scale algorithm deployment Experience transitioning AI products from research to production Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of NLP / LLM applications in fact-checking, data integrity, and information verification.
