Kadiak LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the accuracy and quality of data entry, document processing, and overall performance within the scope of work. This role requires a strong background in health or science-related fields, excellent computer skills, and experience with querying and utilizing databases. The ideal candidate should also possess knowledge of medical devices and device terminology, as well as the ability to provide guidance on policy questions and assist stakeholders with compliance requirements.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to :
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for :
- Perform quality control and assurance on data entry processes, ensuring the correctness and accuracy of information entered databases and systems.
- Oversee document control and processing, verifying the proper handling, indexing, and organization of documents and records.
- Monitor and maintain the overall quality of performance within the scope of work, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
- Function as the vocabulary specialist, leveraging knowledge and experience with medical devices and device terminology in a commercial or health information processing environment.
- Respond to email and voice mail messages from stakeholders, providing guidance and assistance in complying with registration and listing requirements.
- Address policy questions and provide subject matter expertise related to relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data entry personnel, document management specialists, and subject matter experts, to identify and resolve quality issues or process gaps.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, checklists, and audit plans to streamline the review and verification processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality assurance activities, findings, and resolutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest quality assurance methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, and recommend their adoption when appropriate.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
