Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care services using standard occupational therapy practices and procedures. The Occupational Therapist will also be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care services using standard occupational therapy practices and procedures. The Occupational Therapist will also be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
- Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
- Measures and records patient’s motor and neurological capabilities
- Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary
- Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current License as Occupational Therapist in the State of PA. Must be in good standing.
