What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Construction Labor position at Kading?
Kading Construction is looking to add permanent team members to our construction crews. Ideal candidates must be 18 years of age or older, have reliable transportation to our job sites, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in inclement weather. This position would be located at multiple locations under construction throughout Central Iowa.
Applicant should have a basic understanding of construction, some level of experience in concrete finishing, landscaping, framing, or general contracting, and a willingness to learn. Must be able to work with others and independently.
All candidates are subject to pre-employment background check, and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. Additional consideration given to those possessing A CDL. Compensation based on experience. Paid holidays, a 401k retirement plan, and health benefits available. Our onsite crews are provided lunch on regularly scheduled work days, an hour of paid travel time for regularly scheduled work days, as well as gas paid to and from the jobsite. Work schedule is Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm. Extra hours may be available during busy times.
