General Laborer

Work as a general construction laborer on one of our swimming pool construction crews. Depending on your skill set you could find yourself working with a crew doing plaster finishes, tile and masonry work, steel rebar placement, and/or shotcrete pumping and finishing. This job will require you to work as part of one of our teams, requiring good communication and teamwork skills. Each day you and your crew will meet at our warehouse in Maynard, go to one of our construction sites, set up your equipment, perform the duties described on your worksheet, and return home. Oftentimes, travel will be required to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Please expect 4-6 nights of travel per month. There are extensive opportunities for growth and promotion within the company regardless of your starting salary.

Requirements:

Must be physically able to perform all job duties, including but not limited to: lifting up to 50 lbs. or more, spending the majority of your day on your feet and outdoors, ability to lift twist and turn comfortably.

Sufficient working knowledge of manual labor, construction, and what comes along with this type of work.

A positive and team friendly attitude.

Strong work ethic and a desire to improve.

Proper listening and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with construction, masonry, steel rebar, concrete pumping, or plaster finishing.

Experience with PebbleTec or similar products.

Portuguese or Spanish language ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 80 per week
