Since being founded in 1994, Kafka Conveyors & Equipment, Inc. has grown into a well-known supplier and manufacturer of conveyors, providing consistently high-quality and prompt equipment delivery. With the company expanding, we have two Welder/Fabricator positions available. This position requires knowledge of wire feed welding, fabrication, and the ability to read blueprints. Experience and/or degree is preferred.

- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications and work orders to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Lay out, position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, and tape measure.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
- Position and secure work pieces, using hoists, cranes or hand tools
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as MIG welding, torch, plasma torch, and overhead crane.
- Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders
- Weld components in flat or vertical positions
