Job Description:

KAG is offering a Logistics - Management Development program to college graduates who have interest in a building career in any of our support departments. This program was created to mold and develop the future leaders of our company. You will spend 6 months in a rotational program learning all aspects of KAG. The program includes various professional development experiences and on-the-job training. You will be rotated across various desks to learn about each customer, participate in classroom courses, be exposed to networking opportunities, and travel to other locations during your program to prepare you for a career of advancement within the company.

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Remain open to a variety of assignments in a fast-paced industry
  • Move comfortably to a new area and assimilate quickly

Essential Functions:

  • Receives training and performs several duties
  • Learns staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company practices
  • Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management
  • Monitors performance progress
  • Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods and procedures
  • Evaluates work output
  • Helps set policies
  • Works in different departments to gain perspective

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • Have an active driver's license
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively
  • Proficient in Word and Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

  • A Supply Chain Management or otherwise related academic major
  • A leadership/management role on campus or related extracurricular activities
  • Willingness to relocate regionally during, or at the end of, the program
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
