Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Pay: $66,800 to $83,300
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to managing inventory, as well as troubleshooting any operational issues that arise. Additionally, this position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, ensuring customer needs are met with the highest level of service.
Essential Functions
These duties will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution
- Actively participate in the handling and organization of inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of goods
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate stock
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records
- Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warehouse-related inquiries and issues
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Hands-on experience with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Possession of a valid forklift certification is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety operations and best practices in warehouse operations
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and systems
- 2 years of managerial experience preferred
Work Environment
- Split between the warehouse floor and office, involving both physical activities, including lifting, carrying, and moving inventory, as well as standing and walking for extended periods and administrative tasks
- May include early mornings, late evenings, or weekends to accommodate shipments
- The work environment is a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and heavy machinery operation.
- Constant care to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency
