About the Role
This position is required to perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations. Knowledge and understanding of basic and intermediate preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment.
- Create and complete work order entries, maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions, including oil changes and equipment inspections.
- Evaluate and diagnose electrical issues, making repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Lead and/or assist with physical parts inventory, receiving and charging out parts to work orders.
- Learn and become proficient using our maintenance software program to create and complete work orders.
