Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Director of Environmental Services to join our team!
The Environmental Services (EVS) Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department with a focus on building systems, preventative Environmental Services, vendor coordination, and administrative functions. This role plays a vital part in keeping Kāhala Nui safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for all residents and associates.
The Environmental Services Coordinator works closely with the Director of Environmental Services, Environmental Services associates, vendors, and other departments to support efficient operations and project follow-through.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience as an administrative assistant or project coordinator preferably in a hotel, hospital or nursing home.
- Ability to understand and use common terminology in Environmental Services and building operations.
- High degree of organization, coordination and attention to detail are a must.
- Proficient computer skills in word and excel applications. Power Point a plus.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with frequent interruptions.
- Must be available to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.
