We are seeking a Junior Social Media & Account Manager to join our growing team in our NYC office. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their social media and digital marketing initiatives are strategically managed. You will guide and execute strategies on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email marketing. The ideal candidate should be adept at relationship-building, task delegation, and maintaining an organized content calendar to ensure timely and engaging posts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Communicate with clients regularly and professionally, addressing inquiries and feedback in a timely manner.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their brand voice, goals, and objectives.
- Provide strategic insights and campaign performance updates during client calls and meetings.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement social media strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Schedule and post content on behalf of clients, ensuring brand consistency and tone.
- Monitor, engage, and respond to audience interactions in a timely manner.
Email Marketing
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Manage email marketing schedules, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Analyze email performance and recommend optimizations to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
Content Calendar Management
- Create and maintain content calendars, aligning social media posts and email campaigns with client objectives.
- Collaborate with design, video editing, and PR teams to ensure timely production and distribution of assets.
- Track content performance and adjust strategies as needed based on analytics.
Delegation & Collaboration
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and PR team members to deliver high-quality content.
- Provide clear direction on creative briefs and content needs, ensuring brand consistency.
- Liaise with internal teams to maintain a smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across social media and email platforms.
- Prepare regular performance reports, highlighting successes, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Present data-driven recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders to refine strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or account coordination (internships and relevant coursework considered).
- Familiarity with platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and popular email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact).
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Ability to develop basic social media strategies and execute day-to-day posting and engagement.
- Strong organizational skills for managing content calendars and coordinating multiple client accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Proficient in basic analytics and reporting; comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) is a plus.
