Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. Shifts will be Fridays and Saturdays, from 6 pm to close (10 pm).
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Support the culinary team during peak service times by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
- Participate in regular cleaning duties to keep the kitchen organized and hygienic, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns as required.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a culinary setting.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus, particularly in hospitality or hotel environments.
