CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - AL

The Opportunity :

We are seeking to fil the position of : Assisted Living Certified Nursing Assistant 1st and 2nd shift .

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Qualifications :

Current CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Iowa.
High School Education / GED
Completion of recognized Nurse’s Aide Training Course and passing score on competency.
Current CPR Certification.
Able to work irregular hours, occasional weekends and evenings.
Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Job Summary :

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plans.

Support residents with room organization, light housekeeping, and personal laundry.

Foster resident independence by offering choices and encouraging self-help skills.

Monitor residents for changes in condition, abnormal signs, or symptoms, and report concerns promptly to the Nurse Supervisor.

Perform routine procedures and assist with care tasks as delegated by nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation.

Accurately document changes in residents’ conditions and care provided in their records.

Complete incident reports as required and maintain service delivery logs.

Actively participate in staff meetings to promote teamwork and continuity of care.

Encourage and escort residents to scheduled activities, fostering social engagement.

Lead or assist with activities, incorporating resident preferences and suggestions.

Build positive relationships with residents through meaningful interactions.
