Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities.
We are looking for an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment.
- Part-Time: morning and afternoon shifts available!
Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in Long-Term care preferred.
Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Job Summary:
- Assist the recreational activities leader in use of equipment and supplies.
- Assist residents with mobility, toileting and feeding as necessary.
- Assist in activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music or drama.
- Prepare equipment and ensure the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
- Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
- Help keep records of equipment and its use.
- Assist in planning programs for patients, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
