Mental Health Technician Eating Disorder Treatment Center

About the Role :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team at Kahm Center for Eating Disorders in Burlington, VT. As a key member of our treatment center, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care for individuals battling eating disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery.

Responsibilities :

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients

Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress

Facilitate group sessions

Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients

Assist with meal support and nutritional counseling

Perform metabolic / body composition analysis

Requirements :

Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations

Understanding of eating disorders and their impact on individuals

Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Demonstrates and consistently strives to maintain excellence in all mental health counselor job responsibilities
