What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Consultant position at KAHM Consulting, LLC.?
The ideal candidate will develop relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and client retention. Additionally, experience with seafoods, meats, poultry, and other gourmet items is required. Seafood experience is strongly preferred. You act as a consultant by developing account strategies that provide the greatest opportunities to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Provide general sales support (needs analysis, data review, and product demonstrations)
- Manage and expand existing territory.
- Build rapport, trust and respect with customers, clients, restaurant owners, stakeholders and peers.
- Partner with internal teams for alignment on inventory and ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers.
- Serve as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
- Prepare periodic forecasts and progress updates toward sales goals
Expertise
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in perishable food products; experience with seafood specifically is highly desired.
- 2-5 years' experience in sales within the food/foodservice industry. Experience as an executive chef or restaurant manager is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing or Sales
- 3 years' of sales consulting or business intelligence experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work, learn quickly
