As an Associate on our Tax Team, you will utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you work closely with colleagues on a variety of assignments for clients of the Firm.
Candidates applying for this position will be responsible for the following:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and review federal, state and international tax returns
- Create tax planning ideas and strategies for individuals, multi-state and multinational corporations and partnerships
- Prepare and organizing tax files and prepare projections for year end tax strategies
- Prepare financial reporting and tax preparation, including tax planning services for corporate and individual tax clients
- Research complex tax and financial reporting issues
- Respond to IRS and state tax notices
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Accounting
- Master’s degree preferred
- CPA or CPA track highly preferred
- 1 - 2 years prior experience in public or industry accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, include Excel, Word and Teams
- Detail-oriented, fast learner
- Works well on a team/team player
- Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast paced environment

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with expected overtime during our peak season: February through April and September through October. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which can include weekends.
