Experience:
- One year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or as a Home Health Aide, or successful completion of a 6-month intensive St. Francis Home Health Aide on-the-job program.
- One year of Nurse Aide experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Certificate of completion of a State of Hawaii Certified Nurse’s Aide course (100 hours).
- State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Certification is preferred.

Job Description:
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to clients in a home setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare providers.
- Support clients with basic medical needs under supervision, including medication reminders and vital sign monitoring.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Transport clients as needed, ensuring safe and timely travel.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Valid driver’s license, personal automobile for business use, and a clean driving record (verified by current traffic abstract).
- Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and composed in all interactions.
- Dexterity in handling medical equipment and instruments.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively.
