About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
- Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures to anatomical and pathological information
- Analyze sonograms, synthesize information, and communicate findings to physicians
- Coordinate work schedule with Departmental Director to ensure workload coverage
- Ensure patient safety, mental, and physical comfort
- Maintain a daily log of patients and complete exam billing forms
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Effectively operate sonographic equipment
- Use independent judgment to acquire optimal diagnostic sonographic information
- Able to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to attending physicians
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with the public and healthcare teams
- Work efficiently and cope with emergencies
