Type : Full-time; Contract
Schedule : Day Shift, 8am to 9pm (Rotating Weekends)
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Programs Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. If you’re passionate about planning engaging activities and fostering a vibrant community, we’d love to hear from you!
Job Description :
- Lead activities such as excursions, games, cultural programs, and lectures for independent and assisted living residents.
- Collaborate with the program manager to create programs within budget and tailored to residents’ needs.
- Coordinate special outings and accompany residents.
- Design and distribute program materials, including flyers, event notifications, and newsletters.
- Update and maintain the Outlook calendar for events.
- Work with other departments to organize programs, resident events, and staff gatherings.
- Build and maintain relationships with entertainers, speakers, and visitors.
- Foster positive resident engagement and participation.
- Assist in planning religious services, memorials, and Vespers.
- Provide backup support for all program-related duties and perform additional tasks as assigned.
