Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a School Janitor to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Respond to calls for service (clean up spills, accidents, restock supplies, etc.).
- Clean the cafeteria before and after meal services.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for school events or special projects.
- Ensure proper use and storage of equipment.
- Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness throughout the day.
- Launder linens, clothing/costumes as needed for special events or accidents in the gym laundry room.
- Disinfect elevators, buildings, lockers, equipment, and offices.
- Maintain common areas to include stairwells, walkways, courtyards, benches, outdoor seating areas, water fountains, etc.
- Empty all outdoor trash receptacles and reline.
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols consistently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of cleaning tools and safe chemical use.
- Ability to follow schedules and detailed instructions.
