Job Summary: A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is responsible for providing basic care to patients in a healthcare setting. The CNA will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and will assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. The CNA will also take vital signs, record patient information, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Assist with medical procedures as needed
- Communicate with patients and their families
- Report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow all healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nurse Aide in the state of Hawaii
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Basic computer skills
