Position: Employee Engagement Manager

Position Purpose:
Develops and carries out employee engagement initiatives that tie to the mission and vision of Kahuku Medical Center. Manages the training and education requirements for all KMC employees to comply with industry standards. Collects information to track employee satisfaction and performance.
Essential Functions:
- Designs, develops, and delivers training programs and workshops aimed at improving employee performance, leadership skills, team dynamics, and company culture.
- Plan and carry out employee engagement programs which include but are not limited to recognition, community outreach, and employee enrichment activities.
- Manages the start-to-finish process of performance management and employee surveys.
- Understands employment law and regulations and provides advice and clarification on Human Resources questions and updates .
- Meets with employees and solicits, collects, and reviews employee insights and identifies feedback trends.
- Utilizes HRIS and Training systems to track employee certification, trainings, and compliance matters.
- Compiles and analyzes data from employee surveys and performance evaluations to identify gaps in skills, knowledge, and organizational processes, and recommends interventions to address these gaps.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Job Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or Management Level Role in related field.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver training to all employees.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision making.
