As a Rural Health Clinic Practitioner/Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing inpatient hospitalist services and outpatient primary healthcare services to patients of diverse backgrounds.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of departmental policies, and engage in educational activities to enhance your own knowledge and skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Admitting patients and creating and recommending treatment plans.
- Taking patient medical histories and updating patient information and charts.
- Ordering tests and reviewing and interpreting test results.
- Participating in quality reporting and improvement initiatives.
- Managing patients on the unit to desired outcomes.
- Rounding and working with the interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
