Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and that all leasing processes run smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of property management principles, student housing, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle conflicts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Oversee property maintenance tasks, coordinating with vendors and contractors as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance logs through effective data entry practices.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Promote available units through upselling techniques to attract potential tenants.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports related to property management activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in property management - Student Housing is a PLUS
- Proficiency in office administration with strong organizational abilities.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively address tenant issues.
- Knowledge of property maintenance processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with property leasing procedures and documentation requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with tenants.
- Competence in data entry for maintaining accurate records and files.
- Ability to implement upselling strategies for maximizing occupancy rates.
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance in all dealings.
