Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic communication, public affairs, or media relations.
- Experience managing high-visibility projects or initiatives in a government or corporate environment is highly desirable.
- Willing to work in Washington DC
- Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Oversee the creation of multimedia content, including written materials, video, and social media campaigns, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
- Provide strategic guidance on public relations and crisis communication efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with overall communication goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform data-driven communication strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate communication efforts, using performance metrics and analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
- Manage logistics and coordination for outreach events, ensuring successful stakeholder engagement and message delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.

- Proficiency in analytics tools and software for social media and communication metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Strong knowledge of federal accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve communication objectives.
- Familiarity with contingency planning for emergency operations is a plus.
