Position Title: Help Desk Support Service Specialist Senior

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
Job Summary
KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Support Service Specialist Senior to join our rapidly growing team. The employee shall provide Tier II technical support to resolve hardware, software, and IT issues. The employee shall also provide end-user assistance at the workstation or docking stations and perform troubleshooting and repair services for all hardware and software issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
- Under general direction, provides second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
- Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve.
- May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Provide technical assistance to end-users using approved remote capabilities, or on-site at the customer’s building/workstation.
- Provide technical support for printers, scanners, multi-function devices, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain end user equipment and software, such as computers, printers, peripherals, etc.
- Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions to include items such as, hardware, software, account, and e-mail basic issues.
- Additional duties as required.
Compensation Minimum: $50,000
Compensation Maximum: $60,000

Education/Experience/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or other related discipline is preferred or have equivalent experience.
- Five to 7 years’ experience preferred
- GFACT or CND or Security or GSEC certifications

- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines and find preventative solutions while troubleshooting
- Manage multiple complex technical initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional time management skills
- Takes initiative and demonstrates accountability

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
Security Clearance
Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
