Summary
Be a part of our exciting growth in the 2025-2026 school year! We are seeking dynamic and experienced teachers to join our 12th-grade team, which will be responsible for nurturing the first Kairos graduates. If you are passionate and committed to making a difference, we want you to strengthen our team. Please note that Kairos Academies reserves the right to change and modify this position's duties and essential functions at any time. This job description is not exhaustive and may include subbing, extra duty responsibilities, and weekend and evening activities.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and implement a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
- Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments
- Make use of data to inform instructional decisions
- Give students daily feedback on their performance and plan for individual learning needs
- Build a Positive School and Classroom Culture
- Embody and maintain the school's values, policies, and culture
- Build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff
- Maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress
- Effectively manage a classroom with up to 25 students

Technology Skills
Competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms. Ability to use basic office equipment. Knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system.

Every employee of the school has an obligation to know our safety rules and procedures; to teach what they know to others; to recognize unsafe actions and situations; to warn others of unsafe situations; to react to emergency situations and to report hazardous or unsafe practices to those in a position to correct them.

Saint Louis, MO 63118 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Please note, this is not a remote position. All Kairos teachers are required to deliver in-person instruction onsite, in our school in St. Louis
