Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The role of the team leader is to support the production supervisor. The team leader will follow all instructions provided by the production supervisor. The team leader will help monitor the production area to make sure the production team has what is needed to perform their job duties without interruption. The team leader will act in a professional manner. The team leader does not have the authorization to provide disciplinary action to any team member.
The team leader responsibilities are listed below. This may not include all requirements. Addition responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor or management.

Shift Duties
Proven work experience as a team leader
knowledge of performance metrics
Good PC skills, MS Excel is a plus (Print labels, production requirements, production monitoring and reporting)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Organizational and time-management skills
Decision-making skills
Basic trouble shooting skills
Education:
High school or GED equivalent
Experience:
3 years of manufacturing experience

- Verify that the team members have followed area sign in log and any required check list
- Equipment check list
- Quality check list
- Safety check list
- Monitor materials flow to prevent any downtime caused by missing components
- Monitor line performance and attend to issues that the team members may have. (Restroom needs, missing parts, equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality issues) Report any concerns that you are unable to correct to the supervisor
- Monitor production area to prevent downtime. Report any downtime to the production supervisor. Examples listed below
- Missing materials
- Finished goods racks
- Equipment issues
- Quality issues
- Team members returning late from break
- Record any issues on the Team Leader shift check list
- Team member performance issues
- Late returns from break
- Quality

- Verify all production requirements have been met at the end of the shift
- Verify that production areas are properly prepared for the start of the next shift
- Verify that all work areas are left clean and properly organized prior to the release of the team members. (No one leaves until the supervisor or team leader has verified their work area)
- Verify all equipment is properly shut down at the end of the shift
- All scrap items must be properly recorded and placed in the scrap review area. Any items that may be repaired must be segregated to prevent any additional damage
- Complete and turn in shift check list to the supervisor and the end of the shift
