Job responsibilities
Responsible for operating equipment associated with the processes of extrusion, or casting, and handling of aluminum product.
Complies with all Job Safe Practices (JSP's)
Reviews and follows all Standard Operating procedures for processes
Ensures that quality objectives are met
Operates extrusion or casting equipment
Reports and reviews any unusual conditions with the supervisor or lead person, or other designated appropriate person.
Reports on production results and department measurables
Actively works to correct any unsafe conditions
Interacts daily with other team members, and representatives of other departments
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing / production experience
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Experience operating industrial equipment
Ability to work well with others in a team environment and on problem solving activities
Must be able to work all shifts
Preferred Qualifications :
Post high school education is a plus
