We are looking for a Roll Grinder to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

What you will work on:
· Responsible for heavy assembly and regrinding of large rolling mill rolls.
· Calibrate test equipment and maintain records.
· Perform mechanical repair of roll grinding machines and fixed shop equipment.
· Select, balance, and install grinding wheels.
· Rough turn and grind rolls to desired shape and finish
· Continuous Improvement – we couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.
· Safety First – our values are important to us. Having a “safety first” approach is a key element for success.
What you’ll bring:
· High school graduate or equivalent
· 2-4 years of Machine or Roll Shop experience
· Availability to complete a 3 phase testing process.
· The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.
· Work and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
· Ability to work off-shift as required
