Job Summary
The Automotive BDC Manager is responsible for overseeing the Business Development Center, managing a team of representatives, and implementing innovative strategies to generate and nurture leads, set appointments, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in aligning the BDC's goals with dealership sales objectives while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of BDC representatives.
-Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure peak performance.
-Set and monitor individual and team performance metrics.
-Oversee inbound and outbound call activities, internet lead follow-ups, and appointment scheduling.
-Implement strategies to increase lead conversion rates and appointment show rates.
- Manage aged leads and ensure timely follow-up for all sales inquiries.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by addressing inquires and resolving service issues promptly.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead flow and customer engagement.
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize CRM and other tools to manage leads, track performance, and develop actionable insights.
- Monitor competitive market trends to ensure the dealership remains at the forefront of the industry.
