What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Quality Specialist position at Kaiser-Francis Oil Company?
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare or assist in air permitting applications, GHG inventories, and air emissions inventories related to minor source production facilities.
- Manage air quality reports submitted to EPA and state agencies.
- Responsible for reports to the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD) per the Waste Prevention Rule.
- Manage the engine stack test program.
- Some travel will be required for field visits, required meetings or training.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Ten (10) or more years of air quality experience in Oil & Gas Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Environmental Science or related degree.
- Experience with minor source air permitting, emphasis on New Mexico and Oklahoma.
- Some experience related to the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD) Waste Prevention Rule.
- Knowledge of Subpart W GHG reporting and Air Emissions Inventory.
- Had previously developed and implemented processes and procedures to ensure compliance to permit terms and conditions. Including implemented new systems, and tools.
- Involvement with facility modeling in ProMax, software analytical tools (such as PowerBI)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skill level is necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
