Job Description

Job Title : Maternal Child Health (MCH) RN

Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery - Critical Need

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience :

Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in the last 3 years
Preferred : Five plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last 2 years
Preferred : One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years
High-risk OB experience preferred

License :

Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided

Certifications :

Basic Life Support

Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program

ACLS

Must-Have :

RN License and relevant certifications

Job Description :

Provide nursing care and support for women before, during, and after childbirth

Monitor and assess the health of mothers and babies

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective delivery experiences

Administer medications and manage labor inductions when necessary

Educate and support mothers and families regarding postpartum care and newborn care

Handle high-risk pregnancies and deliveries with proficiency and calm

Respond to emergency situations and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed

Please note that this position requires someone with a compassionate demeanor who can handle stressful situations well while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
