Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Adult Services
Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Critical Need
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 12 hours, 07 : 00 PM to 07 : 30 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
License : Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications : Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Must-Have : ACLS certification
Job Description :
- Provide critical care nursing services in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and perform various medical procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Educate patients and families on illness, recovery, and post-care procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, two years of recent ICU nursing experience, NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, and CCRN certification.
- Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is also preferred.
