This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
Our team provides customer facing services for the following enterprise platforms: Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects and ESRI.
Intern Project(s):
This intern level position will be working directly with the Data & Analytics (D&A) Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting Platforms team and Director that support these platforms. Delivery of the following is scope:
High level solution consulting for D&A customers helping to assist in How Do I type of questions for Data Analytics groups focusing primarily on Power BI & Tableau.
Report development in Power BI for Data & Analytics tenants
Assisting in triage, onboarding and intake of D&A customers
Target Majors:
Computer Science; Data Science; Math/Statistics
Target Skills:
Knowledge of Data & Analytics Products & Concepts
Process Modeling Knowledge.
Data modeling or data lifecycle knowledge
Ability to work independently given a specific set of deliverables.
Preferred: Hands on experiences with Power BI or Tableau

- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
