Job Summary:
Fellow I is the first year of fellowship training in an area of subspecialty.
Essential Responsibilities:
This first year of fellowship training will enable the Resident Fellow to meet their educational goals and objectives defined within their specialty requirements. The Resident Fellow will actively participate in the specialty care of patients and assume progressively more responsibility as they advance in their training and medical knowledge. The Resident Fellow will acquire the knowledge and special skills of their respective disciplines while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety in the delivery of patient care services. Kaiser Permanente conducts compensation reviews of positions on a routine basis. At any time, Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to reevaluate and change job descriptions, or to change such positions from salaried to hourly pay status. Such changes are generally implemented only after notice is given to affected employees.

Applicant must have successfully graduated from an accredited residency training program before being accepted into the Resident Fellow position.
