What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optimization Consultant - REGIONAL PALM COURT II - Virtual MC Digital Doctors - Per Diiem position at Kaiser Permanente?
Provide consultative services to executive medical center and regional leadership, and department management to integrate local and regional strategies and initiatives in a way that makes tactical sense at the module level. Responsible to develop original and creative end to end solutions, implementation of solutions and development of sustaining strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop and implement medical center and regional policies and procedures to establish compliant workflows for a wide variety of complex topics.
- Lead multiple cross functional groups to optimize the integration of the KP HealthConnect product into Operations to drive improved outcomes.
- Assess performance regarding skills and workflow gaps and develop remediation/sustainability plan for front line staff.
- Train the Front Line Manager on how to monitor staff performance and trouble shoot non-performance.
- Utilize change management techniques and existing resources to support sustainability.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise for the Regional Workflow Consultants.
- Partner with the owners of regional and local initiatives to connect multiple stakeholders into a unified, nonsiloed approach at the module and medical center level.
- Map best practices including key drivers to support clinical outcomes and advise executive leadership.
- Analyze and utilize existing reports (ex. WFE Report, Self Funding CSI, Incident To, TAT, CSG) to identify gaps in performance to develop action plans for leadership.
- Support the implementation of the action plan.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
• Minimum five (5) years of experience and knowledge as a nurse.
Education
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
• Current California RN license required.

Preferred Qualifications:
