Location:
This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
Our department is accountable for implementing an enterprise-wide timekeeping/scheduling system across all KP Hospitals, Health Plan and Provider Groups.
Intern Project(s):
This intern will be providing specifically project coordination and project management support services to the enterprise implementation team. This implementation spans multiple regions and entities - we will need an intern to help manage the work through standard PM tools such as MS SharePoint, Project Plan and even JIRA. Will have access to mentorship across multiple senior leaders in the organization.
Target Majors:
Healthcare Administration; Business Administration; Public Health
Target Skills:
Interest or general knowledge in Healthcare and IT project management space.
As this intern is working in a very labor/union environment - will need intern to be very tactful.
Experience in using MS Office suite, SharePoint, is a super plus.
Ability to communicate clearly, work with minimal direction.

- Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
- Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
- Job shadowing in other functional areas.

- Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.

- Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
