Location:
This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
HPTS (Health Plan Technology Services), NEIWS (National Electronic Imaging & Workflow Systems) supports the business side of the Claims Operations for Kaiser Permanente. Our systems take paper documents, digitize them and route them to our claims, medical records, and other critical systems. We manage the scanning, system health, and interfaces between these systems. Our portfolio contains vendor support applications, Kaiser Permanente authored and supported applications and mobile applications.
Intern Project(s):
The intern will be exposed a complete software development lifecycle. From gathering requirements, software development, testing, release management and post-production support. This individual will be exposed to full-stack development including mobile (iOS). Some technologies used are (but not limited to): .NET (ASP C#, VB.NET), JavaScript / Node.JS / Swift, Scripting (PowerShell, XSLT, DOS Batch, etc.), Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, Jenkins, GitHub.
