**Responsibilities:**
As a Radiologic Technologist at Kaiser Permanente's Maui Memorial Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to radiologic imaging, including:
- Operating general radiology, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging systems, ensuring accurate and timely image acquisition.
- Positioning patients comfortably and safely, employing immobilization devices as necessary, to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Reviewing patient orders and clinical histories, correlating them with the exams being performed, and consulting with radiologists and nurses as required.
- Ensuring adherence to National Patient Safety Goals by verifying patient identities and maintaining confidentiality.
In addition, you will:
- Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and capturing essential information during procedures.
- Prepare sterile fields and contrast agents, as well as ensure the sterility of surgical packs and disposables.
- Process and review images, preparing them for radiologist interpretation, and transmitting them to PACS systems.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences and maintain a safe working environment.
