About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical orders to provide direct and indirect patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation: Document implementation of orders/interventions and record findings on appropriate forms or online records.
- Point of Care Testing: Perform point of care testing as authorized and provide laboratory reports to practitioners.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with RNs and practitioners to revise care plans when needed.
- Vaccine Management: Manage patient vaccine data, including updating the Hawaii Immunization Registry System (HIR).
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (Hawaii) certification at hire.
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
