Operating Room Specialist - Surgical Care Team Member

Join our surgical care team as a highly skilled surgical technologist! As a key member of our operating room staff, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures, preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, and coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth procedure execution.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery by transporting them to the operating room and positioning them on the surgical table
• Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
• Monitor anesthesia levels and report any concerns to the anesthesia provider
• Dispose of contaminated materials and clean the operating room after each procedure

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• Basic Life Support certification
• Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire
