Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Maui Lani Medical Offices. As a member of our outpatient team, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting;
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers;
- Document patient information and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans;
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care;
- Participate in infection control measures and follow proper medication administration and storage procedures;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records;
- Support healthcare providers by gathering and preparing necessary materials and information;
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families to ensure satisfaction and trust;
Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in Hawaii;
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association;
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Previous nursing experience preferred;
- Familiarity with electronic health records and other medical software;
