Job Summary: To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include clerical duties as required. The role promotes team concepts and reflects the KPNW Mission and philosophy.

- Performing diagnostic procedures using knowledge, skills, and abilities for patient care, including routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations according to department policies and procedures.
- Communication with cardiologists.
- Assisting patients and transporting them as needed.
- Data entry, file work, restocking supplies, cleaning, quality assurance functions, and other duties assigned.
- Variable participation in on-call or standby schedules as required.

- A minimum two-year AMA-approved program and successful completion of one year of Ultrasound training and certification, OR
- Two years of Allied Health education and successful completion and certification of a two-year ARDMS program, OR
- Successful completion of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound program and registration from ARDMS or CardioVascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire from Cardiovascular Credentialing International OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Sonography Technologist License (Oregon)
- Basic Life Support within one month of hire
- Completion of a formal training program.
- Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
